Raj Sen is a FIDE INSTRUCTOR (FI) from India. The eminent chess player from West Bengal (Kolkata) has participated in various chess tournaments since 1983. His peak rating was 2165. Working as a chess coach since 1988. Worked with Alekhine Chess Club , Goodricke National Chess Academy and several other Institutions. Worked with the students who are National and International famed currently. Mostly worked with Grandmaster Neelotpal Das whom he trained since his childhood. Currently working with so many children and amateurs in his own named "RAJ SEN CHESS ACADEMY" and with players of higher level as well.

Neelotpal Das
Grandmaster Neelotpal Das was born on 20th. April, 1982. This renowned chess player from Kolkata achieved the Grandmaster title in 2006. He had qualified for the final phase of the world championship, 2004.He defeated some of the world’s top Grandmasters alike Nigel Short , Sergei Tiviakov , Krishnan Sashikiran , Victor Bologan etc. He won many International Tournaments in India and abroad.
I started working with him as a Chess Teacher in the year 1990. He was a Eight year old boy then. The very next year he became State and National Champion in Under – 10 Age Group. His participation in the World Under – 10 Age Group gave him International Exposure. He did not look back after that. I was his regular Chess Teacher till he became International Master in Chess.

I know Raj Sen (or Raj kaku as I call him) since my childhood days in the early 1990's at the Alekhine chess club where I was a student and he was one of the trainers.
